Important facts about the physical evidence of crop circle formations:

· Contrary to popular belief, the majority of crop formations are actually genuine; very few of them are hoaxes.

· Crop circle formations are usually formed within seconds and are caused by some tugging force.

· On the microscopic level, abnormal enlargement of cell wall pits in bract tissue (a thin membrane which surrounds the seed-head) were found.

· When crop circles occur in mature plants with fully formed seeds, these seeds often exhibit a statistically significant massive increase in growth rate and vigor, with growth-rate up to five times the rate of the control seeds.

· The failure of electrical and mechanical equipment in, near, or flying over crop circles occurs often. Cameras, recording devices, cell phones and even tractors out in the field harvesting, regularly fail to operate.

· Some domestic dogs have refused to enter formations while others have reportedly become quite sick after being in a formation.
